I was doodling in my art journal (as I often do) when I had the sudden urge to film what I was doing. I didn’t know why, I didn’t know how but I wanted to do it. So I did.
My last entry was fourteen whole days ago and as much as I feel bad for not writing for that long, I needed the break.
My art is about celebrating the small victories. 😀 Today, here’s a bit of a show-and-tell.
I was scrolling through my Facebook and (via On This Day) I saw a doodle I made in 2014. It was from when I first acquired my iPad and started my journey into digital drawing. I had those rubber-tipped styluses and a lot of excitement.
After writing an entry about my anxieties about making art, I firmly decided that my art will be about celebrating the little victories. Art should be fun and stress-free and I always seem to forget that about it. It’s like I’m competing in a game that’s cooperative by nature. That doesn’t make sense.
So for the past few days, I buckled down and made some doodles. These are the ones I’m happy to share with you.
